What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

The way I felt taking care of people while being an Emergency Medical Technician made me want to become a health care provider.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Urology is a great mix between surgery and non-surgical interventions. I also get to work with a robot.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to show them their x-rays, MRI and so forth while reviewing everything with them. I also like to reiterate what they just told me to make sure I understand what they have said and any concerns they may have.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Running, hiking, and coaching soccer.

What is your advice for your patients?

I cannot read you mind, so please tell me what is on it no matter how embarrassing or trivial you think it is.
