What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

During my nursing career, I always wanted to help my patients in a more profound way and thought I could make more changes by furthering my education. 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I decided to enter the dermatology field after working in the ER and Urgent Care for years. It was the right specialty for me since I have always loved skin care and aesthetics. I love when my patients come back looking and feeling great after treatment.

How do you connect with your patients?

Using good listening skills and being honest.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Spending time with my family, being outdoors, eating good food, reading and traveling. 

What is your advice for your patients?

Take care of yourself, take time to relax each day when possible.
