What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I was an EMT throughout my latter years of college and early medical school and fell in love with the idea of taking care of someone when they are most at their time of need.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love being a 'doctor's doctor', and being the first person to make a diagnosis.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try my best to be a calming influence on my patients. Patients should be able to relax and put aside stress when undergoing an exam.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I recently acquired and SLR camera and enjoy taking pictures of friends & family. My wife and I also enjoy hiking.

What is your advice for your patients?

Never make yourself uncomfortable for a doctor. Your doctor is there to ease your burden.
