About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I first became interested with physical therapy while in college. It was through PT that I was able to overcome some over use issues while training for the Nordic Ski Team and continue competing at the collegiate level.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I have been focused on orthopedic injuries over the past 20 years. Using my extensive training in myofascial release and manual therapy to assist people to return to a higher functional level and/or return to sports.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by listening to them and addressing the area of activity they are most concerned about.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Martial arts, hiking, mountain biking, nordic and alpine skiing, and scuba diving
What is your advice for your patients?
To be consistent with their exercise and not over do it - at least in the early stages of injury/recovery.
