About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I decided to become an Oncology Nurse Practitioner because I wanted to have more of an impact on patient care.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love the relationship that is built between patient and healthcare provider. Every patient is unique and brings a different experience. This allows me to continuously grow and provide the best care possible to our oncology patients.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by actively listening and allowing them time to express all their concerns.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I am an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King and Kate Morton.
What is your advice for your patients?
Take it one day at a time.
