Alicia Cornell, Radiology Technologist
When did you start working at Crystal Run Healthcare?
I started working at CRHC in March of 2004.
What made you choose a career in this field?
I wanted to be a Radiology Technologist because I had family members who were in the field and I thought it would be interesting. I felt Mammography/Dexascan was an area where I could make a difference. It has been my specialty for the last 25 years. I try to treat each patient as I believe I would like to be treated or I would want my family members to be treated.
What is your biggest accomplishment within your career thus far?
My biggest accomplishment thus far is hearing from patients that I am doing a great job. A diagnostic imaging test can be an uncomfortable and scary procedure for some. If I can make a patient’s experience a good one, I feel I have made a difference in their lives.
What is your favorite part about working at Crystal Run Healthcare?
My favorite part of working at CRHC is working with such a great team. I work with amazing Radiologists, Techs, and other support staff. Each day is different and I get to meet great patients who I connect with.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are gardening, reading, and volunteering my time to assist others.
