About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My earliest memory of wanting to be a doctor was at 5 years old when I visited the hospital where my mother worked. I had always been interested in the sciences and also serving others.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love pediatrics because it is this time in the patient's life that they are most impressionable. I love working with parents and children to improve their quality of life.
How do you connect with your patients?
I use language that they understand and I allow for open, bidirectional discussions.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Church activities, volleyball, exploring the outdoors, traveling.
What is your advice for your patients?
A healthy lifestyle is a combination of healthy food choices and physical activity.
