About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I grew up in a physicians household - office attached to our house, dad was an internist - it seemed a natural profession for me and my 2 siblings.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I enjoy the consultant role or doctor's doctor as radiology has been called. It is like detective work, using imaging clues in formulating a diagnosis. I also enjoyed studying anatomy in med school.

How do you connect with your patients?

I do a lot of women's imaging where I directly convey results of studies and do resultant biopsies. I strive to be candid, yet compassionate.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Swimming, Walking, Music, Piano
