About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I first became interested in becoming a physician because my older brother and sister went to medical school. Also, I decided to pursue a career in medicine because my favorite subjects in college were chemistry and biology.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I like studying and treating eye pathology. Many times you can diagnose an eye disease based on the eye exam, without resorting to additional tests. By improving or maintaining a patient's vision, you can make a big difference in their quality of life.
How do you connect with your patients?
I like to have patients make their own medical decisions with the information and medical advice that I provide.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Tennis, traveling, spending time with friends and family.
What is your advice for your patients?
Get regular eye checkups, at least once a year. You do not want to miss a condition like glaucoma!
