About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My journey to becoming a doctor is rooted in a combination of factors, both personal and academic. I have always been deeply interested in science and biology. From a young age, I was curious about how the human body works, how diseases affect it, and how medical interventions can make a difference in people's lives. Additionally, I've always had a strong desire to help people and make a positive impact in their lives. Becoming a doctor allows me to combine my passion for science with my innate desire to serve others.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
What I love most about Gastroenterology and the sub-specialty of advanced endoscopy is the combination of cutting-edge technology, the ability to diagnose and treat complex conditions, and the potential to significantly improve the lives of my patients. It's a field that challenges me to continuously learn and innovate, all while providing meaningful care to those who need it most.
How do you connect with your patients?
Connecting with my patients is not just about the medical aspects of their care; it's about forming a partnership based on trust, empathy, clear communication, and individualized attention. By prioritizing these principles, I work to provide the best possible care and support to each patient I serve.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
While my profession as a doctor is incredibly rewarding, the hobbies and passions that provide me with a break from the demands of the medical world include travel, reading, cooking, fitness, and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.
What is your advice for your patients?
I work collaboratively with my patients to create personalized plans that address their unique goals and challenges. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my patients to take an active role in their health and make informed choices that lead to a healthier and more fulfilling life.
