When you make an appointment to see a heart specialist at Crystal Run Healthcare, a board-certified cardiologist will evaluate the health of your cardiovascular system. If you display signs of hypertensive heart disease or other conditions, the cardiologist will recommend further tests, lifestyle changes, and/or a course of treatment. If you require cardiac surgery, such as heart bypass surgery, your cardiovascular doctor may recommend that you see a cardiovascular surgeon.
