About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
One main reason I became a doctor is for the rewarding feeling I get at the end of a hard day’s work, knowing that I helped people at vulnerable stages of their lives. It’s that feeling that keeps my passion for the profession alive.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose internal medicine because the specialty is broad and comprehensive. I get to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. I like the challenge of working through complex issues that arise when dealing with patients with multiple disease processes.
How do you connect with your patients?
Patient care is about collaborating with patients and their families. Spending ample time with them to make sure they are fully aware of the situation is the best way to connect.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Reading, cooking, and traveling
What is your advice for your patients?
I would advise my patients to make good health their first priority.
