What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I wanted to become a healthcare professional because I wanted to help patients to know how to prevent a chronic disease.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love internal medicine because patients need primary care providers who can guide them through the process of health care, prevention, and treatment.

How do you connect with your patients?

I like to build trust. I show them how much I care about them and try to be a good listener.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Swimming, camping, skiing, and golfing.

What is your advice for your patients?

Prevention is the key to good health!
