What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

My earliest memory of wanting to become a health care provider was in middle school. As a child my mother would take me to her place of work at a private doctor's office and I was exposed first hand to the world of medicine. Growing up I remember going on doctor visits always admiring what they did and the passion they showed behind their work which inspired me to pursue this career in helping others as well.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love being able to touch the lives of those we treat. I chose my specialty because I can treat people of all ages across their lifespan.

How do you connect with your patients?

Establishing a great rapport with your patients is key to helping patients adhere to healthy habits and behaviors as it can help build trust, honesty, and commitment that will help foster and evolve pathways that will help make a connection with patients.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Spending family time in the outdoors, biking, visiting our local library, and volunteering at school events.

What is your advice for your patients?

I empower every patient to make the most during their visit by becoming more proactive in their healthcare and ask questions.
