Crystal Run Healthcare is hosting Diabetes Self-Management Education Classes presented by Certified Diabetes Educators with both in-person and virtual attendance options. In-person classes are being held at the practice’s Middletown facility, located at 155 Crystal Run Road in the 3rd floor conference room A. To maintain a safe environment, masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. Virtual classes will take place through Zoom.
The Diabetes Self-Management Classes at Crystal Run Healthcare provide education for individuals with diabetes and teaches the skills and knowledge needed to maximize their role in managing blood glucose and optimizing overall health. This program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association.
Upcoming Classes – choose either in-person or virtual option:
- March 30th - What is Diabetes? / Preventing Complications
- April 20th - Medications / Monitoring Blood Glucose
- May 25th - Nutrition
- June 22nd - Emotions & Support / Exercise / Changing Habits
Times/Location:
- Virtual Classes held Tuesdays from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM
- In-person Classes held Tuesdays from 5:00 PM-6:30 PM at 155 Crystal Run Road, Middletown, 3rd floor conference Room A
