Crystal Run Healthcare Presents Annual BPW Scholarship to Minisink Valley High School Graduate
On June 30, Crystal Run Healthcare presented local Minisink Valley High School graduate, Emily Bartels, with the organization’s annual scholarship in the amount of $1,500. This year marks the 12th consecutive year that Crystal Run Healthcare has offered their scholarship to a local graduating senior, administered in partnership with the Middletown Business and Professional Women's Club.
Emily Bartels is a 2024 graduate of Minisink Valley High School and will be attending the University of Buffalo studying Pre-Med/Biology and Spanish.
Ms. Bartels was selected to receive Crystal Run Healthcare’s scholarship based on her academic performance, community involvement and pursuit of a career in health care. Additionally, Ms. Bartels decided to dual major in Spanish to better treat more people in her community within the medical setting.
Crystal Run Healthcare’s Director of Operations for the 95 Middletown building, Kara Cable, presented Ms. Bartels with the organization’s scholarship at the Business and Professional Women’s annual scholarship awards dinner at the Town of Wallkill Golf Club. Since 2005, Crystal Run Healthcare has donated over $65,000 to local high school graduates pursuing their college studies in a healthcare-related field.
