Middletown, N.Y. – June 3, 2014 – Managing Partner and CEO of Crystal Run Healthcare, Dr. Hal Teitelbaum has been nominated for Modern Healthcare’s “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.” Among the other nominees are prominent national figures including President of the United States, Barack Obama and Speaker of the House, John Boehner. Dr. Teitelbaum’s nomination, along with such elite company, speaks volumes to his influence in healthcare on the national stage.

Dr. Hal Teitelbaum is the Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Run Healthcare, a premier multi-specialty group medical practice. Dr. Teitelbaum completed his training in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. After beginning his career in full-time academic practice, Dr. Teitelbaum established a solo practice in Orange County, New York, in 1982. He established Crystal Run Healthcare in 1996 and has served as its Managing Partner and CEO since. Dr. Teitelbaum is a 1998 Honors graduate of Columbia Business School, where he earned his MBA. He has also earned his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School, Class of 2012 where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Dr. Teitelbaum’s dedication and drive has resulted in Crystal Run Healthcare being recognized as a market leader in health care delivery in the Hudson Valley, and have contributed significantly to raising the bar in medical care throughout the region by improving the access to and quality of health care. This year marks the 13th annual poll conducted by Modern Healthcare to determine who the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare are in the United States. Voting began on May 5th and runs through June 13th.
