About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

Watching my pediatrician with admiration.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Nothing can compare to being able to save a patient's life with a procedure and interventional cardiology allows that.  It also allows me to follow patients for years, both in the office and in the cath lab.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with them by simply realizing that we aren't different.  We have the same concerns and same goals in life.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy running and biking.  I also love to try new restaurants.

What is your advice for your patients?

Do not take your health for granted.
