About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I had always been exposed to doctors socially as a child and admired the work and knowledge they possessed. As I became more involved with the courses and preparation on an academic level, I realized more so that this is what interested me the most.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Through my experiences clinically during pre-med years, I found it rewarding to see the impact primary care had on disease prevention. In addition, the personal relationship you develop with your patients is rewarding.
How do you connect with your patients?
I speak to them about their social and personal concerns and non-medical issues giving the time needed to express themselves.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Spending time with my family, traveling
What is your advice for your patients?
I try to encourage them to take an active role in caring for themselves and their health
