About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
One of my earliest childhood memories is playing doctor with my dolls—giving them “vaccines” with ballpoint pens in their arms so they could be healthy and go to school just like me.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love caring for women throughout all stages of life—from adolescence to adulthood and beyond. It’s incredibly rewarding to build long-term relationships and share in life’s milestones. Seeing pictures of babies I delivered years ago always brings me joy.
How do you connect with your patients?
As a woman, I understand what it’s like to be a patient—whether it’s a routine pap smear, birth control, infertility struggles, pregnancy, delivery, gynecological issues or even undergoing gynecologic surgery myself. I strive to treat my patients the way I would want to be treated, respecting their individual, cultural, and religious beliefs. I make a point to remember personal details and even note them in the chart for future visits.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Honestly—sleeping! And spending time with my family and friends.
What is your advice for your patients?
Please don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
