What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I don't remember exactly why I wanted to become a doctor, but it was from a very young age around 8th or 9th grade.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Working and having contact with so many different people. I chose pediatrics because I used to work in a Montessori preschool while in high school and learned to love working with children.

How do you connect with your patients?

I get to know small things about them and take interest in what they are doing.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I love spending time with my family, my children and my parents and friends, as well as reading and hiking.

What is your advice for your patients?

Take care of your mind and body, as you have only one. Study and work to your full potential. Small mistakes can change your future, so choose your actions very carefully.
