What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I played sports my entire life and had my own experiences as a PT patient when I was in middle school. Over time, I learned how many options there were within the PT field and knew I wanted to pursue this as a career. 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love the amount of time I get to spend with my patients working to educate and progress their physical function. I chose physical therapy as a profession because I really believe exercise is medicine.

How do you connect with your patients?

I love learning the "why" behind a patient's rehabilitation goals and working as a team to achieve them.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy running, hiking, practicing/teaching yoga, and spending time with my family.

What is your advice for your patients?

There are so many ways to exercise that it is worth taking the time to find something you enjoy and making it a part of your weekly routine.
