What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I became a Nurse Practitioner because I loved my profession as a nurse and wanted to expand my practice and responsibilities.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Years ago as a student nurse, I did a rotation in an inpatient oncology unit. I loved it and I have stuck with it ever since then.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients by listening and by showing compassion and empathy for their experiences.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling.

What is your advice for your patients?

I advise patients to take an active part in their care and always ask questions for better understanding.
