What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I grew up in my grandparents' home and saw how they navigated their aging and health issues, and saw what great respect they had for their doctor. 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

There's always something to learn and new developments.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to ascertain what is important to them, and use humor as appropriate to the situation.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Travel, spending time with family, spinning/exercise.

What is your advice for your patients?

Keep moving!
