About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I wanted to become a healthcare provider because it gives me an opportunity to care for patients and the community. Healthcare is the combination of human interaction and science.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love the hand surgery specialty because I get to help patients by relieving pain and returning function to their hands, allowing them to return to their active lives.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients by asking questions to understand their concerns and how their problem impacts their lifestyle. We then discuss risks and benefits of different treatment options to develop the plan that is best for them.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and traveling.

What is your advice for your patients?

The advice I give most to patients is simple modifications that can help alleviate some of their symptoms.
