What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I have always had an abundance of compassion for women, especially those in underserved areas and those afflicted by addiction or victims of assault.  As a teenager I read about a rehabilitation center for women afflicted by addiction and/or histories of prostitution.  It was then I realized I had a purpose in life to help women in need.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love making women feel comfortable enough to talk about issues they may never otherwise discuss with anyone. I enjoy being able to listen and help them conquer those concerns.
I chose Women's health because I have compassion for women and women deserve top quality, compassionate, non-judgmental care for their sensitive concerns.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients by listening to their concerns and paying attention to body language to ensure they are comfortable.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy baking, bird watching, and DIY projects.

What is your advice for your patients?

I share advice on vaginal hygiene and pH tips.
