About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I wanted to become healthcare provider to make a meaningful impact in people's lives. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of being able to alleviate suffering and improve the well-being of others. This passion for helping people solidified my decision to pursue a career in healthcare.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose internal medicine because it aligns with my desire to have a deep understanding of medicine while forming long-term relationships with patients. The ability to manage a wide variety of conditions and the intellectual challenge of diagnosing complex cases drew me to this specialty.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by paying close attention to what my patients are saying. Listening without interrupting, showing empathy, and validating their feelings and concerns.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Family, basketball, food, exploring new places.
What is your advice for your patients?
To stay active, eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep, be proactive about mental health, and manage stress.
