Crystal Run Healthcare Congratulates Second Class Graduates of Medical Assistant Training Program

News/Releases

On Friday, July 26th, Crystal Run Healthcare hosted a graduation for members of the Practice’s second Medical Assistant Training Program. Four students who successfully completed the program will begin working as Medical Assistants at Crystal Run. The 6-week paid training course, designed by the Practice’s Education Department and led by Diane Eull, LPN, Clinical Training Specialist, prepares participants through its combination of classroom teaching, skills training, and clinical shadowing with a preceptor. The Program provides trainees the opportunity to begin a career as a Medical Assistant (MA) at Crystal Run Healthcare, some of whom had no prior medical training.

“At Crystal Run, we’re committed to helping the communities we serve. The Medical Assistant Training Program is another avenue for us to provide education and employment opportunities to members of the community. We look forward to expanding the Medical Assistant Program to other Crystal Run locations,” said Lisa Landi, Director of Education.
