Crystal Run Healthcare Presents Middletown High School Graduate, Merna Sabe, with Annual Scholarship
On June 19th, Crystal Run Healthcare’s Marketing Manager, Lynn Haskin, presented Merna Sabe with the Practice’s annual scholarship in the amount of $1,500 at the Middletown Business & Professional Women’s scholarship awards dinner. This year marks the seventh consecutive year that Crystal Run has offered their scholarship administered by the Middletown BPW to a local graduating senior.
Merna Sabe is a 2019 graduate of Middletown High School. This fall, Ms. Sabe will attend the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT, where she will join a Direct Entry Physician Assistant Program in hopes of becoming a physician assistant. Ms. Sabe was selected to receive this scholarship based on her academic performance, desire to enter the health care field and community involvement.

Crystal Run is honored to present Ms. Sabe with our BPW scholarship and wish her well as she heads to the University of Saint Joseph to become a physician assistant,” said Michelle A. Koury, MD, Chief Operating Officer at Crystal Run Healthcare.
Crystal Run Healthcare has had a longstanding commitment to supporting youth education and giving back to our local community. Since 2005, Crystal Run has donated a total of nearly fifty-five thousand dollars to local high school graduates pursuing their college studies in a healthcare related field.
