Middletown, N.Y. – July 25, 2016 – Crystal Run Healthcare announces the addition of six new providers to the practice. Joining Crystal Run Healthcare are the following:
Randy Cohen, MD, earned his Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Clinical Lipidology, Cardiac CT, Echocardiography, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology and completed fellowship training in Cardiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA and also at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Cohen specializes in Cardiology and is seeing patients in West Nyack.
Leah Kang, DO, earned her Medical Degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, NY and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and completed fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, NY. Dr. Kang specializes in Endocrinology and is seeing patients in New York at Crystal Run’s 155 East 76th St. location.
Rajana Meka, MD, earned her Medical Degree from PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research in Coimbatore, India and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is seeing patients in Monroe.
Amal Rahman, MD, earned his Medical Degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Rahman is part of our Pediatric Hospital Medicine program and will be caring for pediatric patients out of Orange Regional Medical Center.
Maria Sobolev, MD, earned her Medical Degree from the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University, in collaboration with Columbia University Medical Center, in Be'er Sheva, Israel and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in Bronx, NY. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology and completed fellowship training in Cardiology at Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care in Bronx, NY. Dr. Sobolev specializes in Cardiology and is seeing patients in Goshen, Monroe and West Nyack.
Stephen L. Thorp, MD, earned his Medical Degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY and completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. He is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. Dr. Thorp specializes in Interventional Pain Medicine and is seeing patients in Middletown.
