Middletown, N.Y. – December 3, 2013 – Crystal Run Healthcare is proud to announce Dr. Robert E. Dinsmore has been awarded the David T. Cocks Award for Commitment to Community by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan for his work in improving patient care through his long commitment to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties as their Medical Director. Dr. Dinsmore was presented the award by Crystal Run Healthcare’s Managing Partner and CEO, Dr. Hal Teitelbaum at the Community Foundation’s 2013 Annual Reception on Wednesday, November 20th.
The prestigious David T. Cocks Award for Commitment to Community is given to individuals that have made significant contributions to enrich the lives of others and recognizes their outstanding leadership and community service. Dr. Dinsmore was the recipient for Orange County and Mr. Darrell Supak, Senior VP and Chief of Staff, Granite Associates was the recipient for Sullivan County.
Dr. Dinsmore, a medical oncologist and hematologist, has been a partner in practice with Dr. Teitelbaum since 1984. In 1996, Crystal Run Healthcare was founded by Dr. Teitelbaum, Dr. Dinsmore and Dr. Manuel Perry and has steadily grown as a leader in health care delivery in Orange and Sullivan Counties. Dr. Dinsmore serves as Medical Director of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties and is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, Orange County Division.
