About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I chose medicine as a profession because it provided me the unique opportunity to combine my academic interest in science with a love of working with people.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

What fascinated me most about ophthalmology was the ability to help certain patients who are legally blind, see.

How do you connect with your patients?

I strive to be compassionate and sympathetic to all my patients’ eye health concerns.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Running, skiing, fishing and gardening with my children.
