About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
Prior to becoming a physician assistant, I worked as an exercise physiologist, helping patients improve their physical health and well-being. I loved building connections with my patients and found it incredibly fulfilling to see their progress. Over time, I realized I wanted to make a deeper impact—not just through rehabilitation and exercise, but by diagnosing, treating, and providing comprehensive care. This desire to expand my role in patient care inspired me to further my education and pursue a career as a physician assistant.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
What I love most about cardiology is the ability to make a profound difference in patients’ lives. Even small interventions can significantly improve health and quality of life. My experience as an exercise physiologist deepened my appreciation for the heart’s vital role and inspired me to pursue a specialty where I could contribute to life-changing care.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by taking the time to truly listen and understand their concerns. I strive to create an environment where they feel heard, respected, and supported.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love staying active through exercise, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places.
What is your advice for your patients?
The advice I give most to my patients is to take an active role in their health. Small, consistent changes can make a big difference. I encourage them to stay positive, focus on what they can control, and remember that they have the power to improve their health.
