What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

When I was 8, I remember wanting to be a doctor.  I remember going to my doctor and seeing how passionate he was about his work.  That inspired me to be in the medical field. 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose my specialty, not only to be a doctor, but to make an impact on people and on women and give them the individualized time and care they need.  I remember the impact doctors had on me when I was young, and I aspire to have the same impact on future generations.

How do you connect with your patients?

I treat my patients like I would treat my mother.  You have to listen, care, respect, and understand in order to have the privilege and opportunity to help and connect with patients every single day. 

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Travel, cooking, baseball, tennis, football, golf. 

What is your advice for your patients?

Health is achieved by teamwork, family, and by doing what makes you happy.
