What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I entered medicine because I've always wanted to help people. From working in Emergency Medical Services to becoming a nurse, I felt that becoming a Nurse Practitioner was the next logical step.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love dealing with heart rhythms. I chose Electrophysiology for the content, as well as the cutting edge medical technology.

How do you connect with your patients?

I like to connect on a personal level and use common verbiage to avoid confusion.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy sports, music, travel, and learning new things.

What is your advice for your patients?

Always keep a current list of medications and don't be afraid to ask questions.
