Clinical Social Workers at Crystal Run
At Crystal Run Healthcare, our Licensed Clinical Social Workers conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnostic assessments, and psychotherapy. They are trained and able to work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing life stressors or emotional distress. The Clinical Social Worker assists individuals to improve their quality of life by helping them to overcome their barriers and reach their goals. They provide individual, family and group therapy. They utilize different treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy depending on an individual’s needs.
Our Clinical Social Workers have master’s degrees in Social Work and are licensed through the state of New York. They have years of clinical experience in the mental health field and collaborate with other providers to ensure individualized, comprehensive, and quality care.
What to Expect:
Initial Appointment: One hour spent with the Clinical Social Worker gathering information and formulating a treatment plan. You may come alone, with your spouse/partner, or with family members.
Follow-up Appointment(s): 45-50 minutes spent with the Clinical Social Worker. Follow-up appointments vary depending on an individual’s needs and treatment goals. The Clinical Social Worker will assist individuals in with overcoming their barriers and increasing quality of life.
The Clinical Social Workers do not conduct: Forensic evaluation, Custody evaluations, Disability evaluations, Workers Compensation evaluations, Surgical Clearance evaluations, DSS evaluations, Housing evaluations, Case Management, CPS evaluations and any mandated court evaluations.
